Real Estate CE is the required training and education that realtors and real estate agents must participate in on a regular basis to maintain their state licenses. The amount of training that is required differs across the country and is set by each state’s real estate commission. Some states require both pre-licensing and post-licensing training, while others just have ongoing CE requirements.
Continuing education is designed to provide licensees with the knowledge and concepts necessary to conduct business in a legal and professional manner, and to protect the public’s interest. The goal is to ensure that the licensee has current facts and laws to assist them in conducting real estate transactions in a legal and ethical manner.
Many courses offer CE credits, but not all are created equal. The quality of the curriculum, instructor, and course delivery method is important to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your real estate education.
